POPSUGAR must have May Box

POPSUGAR must have known I was on a diet when they put this box together. I tried the HCG diet and I had horrible side effects. I was constantly tired and I could not concentrate in school. Being in a nursing program being able to stay awake and concentrate are a huge must to survive.
The monthly subscription box is $39.95 with free shipping and this months box was worth $115 so I got my moneys worth. I am excited to try this OCC nail lacquer and the water bottle. I still have to smell the perfume after my cold clears up. My kids are ready to tear into the Skinny Sticks so I will be packing them up for the pool this weekend. Another item finished

I finally finished one of my Revlon double twist mascara's. I hated the brush so it made it that much harder to use. I have 2 left and I really, really don't want to use them. Maybe I will do a RAOK (random act of kindness).

Start of Project 10 pan 2011

Only 23 days into the new year and I have already finished 2 products

1. Almay Dial Up Mascara
2. Blistex Deep Renewal

I went to open my backup of Almay Mascara and though about the 5 other mascaras that I have opened and only used once. So I am going to make myself use all those mascaras that are sitting in the bottom of my drawer waiting to die. I hate spending money on something that does not hold up to its end of the bargain and it is a huge disappointment and a waste of my money. Maybe I can get myself to love it for the next 3 months just long enough to finish it up.

What do you do with items that you are don't like and can't swap them because they can't be disinfected? Like your mascaras, lip gloss, liquid eyeliners. Do you throw them away, use them up or return them if you kept your receipt?

I always think about how I could have spent that money on a item that I love and know I will use but I love to try new items hoping to find my next holy grail.

XOXO,
Jenn

Drugstore Haulin' Jan 3, 2011

As I am ready to start my no buy I picked up a few items first. LOL makes sense huh? Here is what I got.

Maybelline eye quads
24 Enchanted Forest
34 Sapphire Ice
40 Designer Chocolates
04 Charcoal Smokes
22 Chai Latte
Revelon perle in Sunlit Sparkle

I already own the Maybelline quad in Emerald Smokes and I am in love with it. The color payoff is amazing for the price. I will be doing an eye tutorial this week with it.

Ponds Clean Sweep Age Defying Wet Cleansing Towelettes - I use these to take off my face makeup before I wash my face at night. My MAC Studio Fix Fluid is hard to get off with cleanser alone - and it saves my towels.

Sally Hanson nail polish - In the Spotlight
St. Ives Apricot Scrub - My favorite facial scrub of all time!!!
St. Ives Whipped Silk Advance Body Moisturizer - This is my first time using this so I will let you know how I like it
